As an unwed mother I have to make decisions

At 20, a college student I was trapped in a pregnancy I didn’t want, by a father I didn’t like. I wasn’t aware at the time that I was lesbian. The father wanted a full time girlfriend, and being pregnant by him, he pretty much decided he owned me. My situation was desperate. I was a third year student of psychology, with no work skills beyond food service.

I married him, moved in with him, put up with him.

I know many women marry men for support, because of children, not because they live them. Including lesbians. I have a lesbian support group, we all have children, most are married, or have been married. After three years I elected to have another child. I fulfill my marital duties, it’s really not hard. I mean the cooking and cleaning. The rest, well it’s my lot in life.

What do you think?
