Not really a confession but something to get off my chest. I accidentally fell for a scam and lost $500. From reading others experiences it’s on the low end for losing money but I just feel so dumb for falling for it.
Unfortunately a friend of mine got hacked on Facebook (I didn’t know at the time) and asked for money. I’ve given money to friends in the past when they’ve needed it (which is why it worked)
I did notice some red flags and had a feeling in my gut something was off but didn’t listen to it right away, which is another reason why I feel dumb about falling for it.
