Curious Not Obsessed

You said to do research, so I did, on you. About 3 months worth randomly, here and there like the poky little puppy. I realized my attraction to you is because you look like my close friend from high school, we grew up together. You’re older but the features are similar and so is the hair and your classy demeanor. She got married and one of my trips back home from NYC I went to meet her for drinks. She weighs like 100 lbs wet and was so timid, I never new her to be jumpy. It was because I found out that night her husband had been abusing her. He showed up at the bar hunting for his petite beauty queen. She asked me to hide her so I did, but not before he tried grabbing her and made her nose bleed. I knocked him on his ass and took her home with me, cleaned up her face, ran her a bubble bath, let her cry in my arms. She said I was like an earth angel…and wanted to kiss me but I wasn’t about to take advantage of my friend whom I love. You remind me of her cause there is a sweetness about you too. What surprised me was the polarity of our opposite but similar experiences. Such a rare connection and sequence of events for us to meet. Sadly, you confided in the enemy. Your friend is bi and was so jealous when she found out about us meeting. I was told she lied to you and told you a false rumor to keep us apart. No worries, you have to do what makes you feel safe, and obviously you are investing time into someone (flavor of the month) that meets your needs. Which obviously is not me. I think you are beautiful and wish the best for you always. I just need someone who chooses me first (not someone I have to convince of my value) and does not play mind games but is clear and loving in their communications. You are lovely but we are world’s apart. Song Dedication: Isn’t She Lovely, Stevie Wonder
