I went for my pelvic examination and I was told I have herpes. I was caught off guard, I’ve been 100% loyal to my husband. Yes, it could be something else but my doctor felt this was sexually transmitted. I confronted my husband of twenty years and he confessed to sex with his twenty one year old accounting clerk. Turns out she transmitted it to him, he had lesions but ignored then, snd this girl earns extra money as a stripper on weekends and accepts sex dates with both men and women.
I’m separated, I have herpes for life. I’m pissed, angry, disappointed, and I do not forgive my husband.
I should add, the most hurt are my children.
well, herpes isn’t the end of the world and i think everything will be okay. i’m sorry you’re grieving this life with this, but in 10 years, you’ll see that you weren’t too much different than before. you are still as worthy as you were before the herpes.
It’s not the end of the world
My wife was given herpes from her cheating husband. She did not know he was cheating on her. They got divorced and he is now married to his mistress.
Before we became intimate, she told me that she had herpes and would understand if I didn’t want to go any further along in our relationship. I checked with my doctor, and he told me that herpes is one of the most manageable diseases around and I shouldn’t worry about it. We will be married 20 years this summer, and the herpes is a complete non-issue. Yes, your husband betrayed you. But don’t think that makes you “ruined” for life.
