Following an ovarian cancer diagnosis I went through a complete hysterectomy. I had to accept I was not fertile and would never bear a child. A friend at work offered to bear children for me, just tell my husband to take it easy on her. Three children later he ‘likes’ having her with him. By that I mean wrapped up in his arms playing the hokey pokey. At first I was jealous, but I’m not anymore, if he’s happy, she’s happy, I’m happy.
